“Hey Boy” begins with cherubic vocals straight from the Langley School before kicking into a pure blissed-out Spector/Beach Boys homage. There are sleigh bells, rollicking guitars, boyish vocals, glockenspiel, and oohs and ahhs to spare. Best of all, the band takes all of those pieces and puts together a song that, if not totally original, is totally grand.

Sometimes originality is overrated anyway.
