Vancouver based Apollo Ghosts play jerky pop songs that are reminiscent in sound and spirit of 80′s college rock bands like the dB’s and the Feelies. Despite this reference point, you could make yourself dizzy playing “spot the influence” while listening to this record as each song has its own unique twist. I have a feeling this may be a sleeper hit and an album I keep returning to.
