Covers: What Goes On

feelies
Lou Reed’s rhythm guitar drives “What Goes On,” locking into the beat to create a hypnotically taut rock ‘n roll stomp that inserts itself into your bloodstream to appropriately adjust your pulse. On 1988’s Only Life, the Feelies applied their trademark rhythmic tightness to latch on to Reed’s groove and give the tune a near-Krautrock punch.

Thanks! I’d love to catch one of those upcoming Feelies reunion gigs. Glad to see their albums are going to be reissued too.
