Another Sunny Day may be best known for Smiths-esque mope pop songs such as “I’m In Love With A Girl Who Doesn’t Know I Exist” and “You Should All Be Murdered,” but the band’s first release is 2 minutes of fuzzed out bliss. Originally released as a flexi-disc single with Sarah Records founder Matt Haynes’ “Are You Scared To Get Happy?” fanzine, the track tumbles along to a drum machine rhythm and Harvey Williams’ shy vocal response to indie pop critics.
Play it loud and jump around. Pop gold.
